New York was a Covid-19 epicenter that spring

Most of us in our community were lucky enough to be able to stay home but there were a number of doctors that continued to go work at hospitals

These were scary times when we would still wipe down our groceries in the garage

I couldn’t imagine what it felt like for these healthcare works to go to “work” everyday

Perhaps it was a way of me saying thank you, or needing to feel I can still be of use in this world, I offered to take their family portrait

Susanna Berger drove #treats4healthcareheroes initiative in our community, rallying over 300 bakers to prepare thousands of homemade treats to the NYC frontline during the peak of pandemic.
